Yamaichi Electronics offers Y-SPE, a new series of connectors for Industrial Single Pair Ethernet (SPE) according to IEC 63171. The new series includes both IP20 cable plugs and PCB sockets as well as M12 with IP67 protection for PCB mounting in accordance with IEC standards 63171-2, -5, -6 and -7.

Miniaturization in automation means that field devices and controllers are becoming ever smaller. CONEC offers a comprehensive portfolio of L-coded connectors to fully map the transmission path from a device installed in the field to the associated processing unit, and to transmit power as well as signals and data.

With the WAFER-EHL, ICP Germany expands its portfolio in the area of embedded boards. The WAFER-EHL is a 3.5-inch mainboard which has a cooling shell. This allows a very simple installation of the board as well as an uncomplicated heat dissipation of the installed components, which is an advantage for machine builders or mechanical engineers.

CONEC has expanded its portfolio of M12 connectors to include L-coded axial shielded THR variants, thus offering a compact, powerful solution for supplying power to automation devices not only via unshielded cables but also via shielded cables.

The Push-Pull version with inner locking of the M12 connector from Yamaichi Electronics is specified in the international standard IEC 61076-2-012. This makes design-ins for M12 Push-Pull systems possible without having to utilise proprietary solutions.

In Product News 2023, CONEC provides an overview of new products from the product groups M12 connectors, sockets, insulation bodies, valve connectors AT06, filter connectors from the D-SUB world, hoods, and accessories. In addition to a variety of connectors for all current standards, CONEC's particular strengths is the integrated moulding of components and assemblies and the development of customized solutions.

CONEC has expanded its valve connector connector program with overmolded DT connectors in 90‑degree angled design with single as well as double cable outlet. Four different directions of the 90‑degree cable outlet are offered.

At electronica WECO presented robust connectors and terminals for industrial, energy and automation projects. WECO Contact GmbH, manufacturer of connection elements for the electronics and electrical engineering sectors, presented its extensive portfolio for industrial electronics and consumer goods at electronica. This year, the focus of the trade fair was on "Tailored Solutions", connection solutions specially tailored to the needs of customers.

The push-pull circular connectors Y-Circ P from Yamaichi Electronics are so reliable that they can be used not only in automation but also in medical technology.

M12 connector series with bayonet quick locking with data transmission rate up to 10 Gbit/s. At the SPS, CONEC presented an expansion of the M12x1 connector series with bayonet quick locking. In addition to the already known variants of overmoulded connectors, sockets print and with wire, there are now field attachable connectors, A-, B-, D- and X-coded. On the device side, the corresponding print sockets axial and angled are added in B-, and X-coding.

Yamaichi Electronics offers many different high-speed connectors. Among these are also high-speed versions in the Y-Circ P product group of metallic push-pull circular connectors.

CONEC offers variants of M12x1 connectors overmoulded with coloured plastic coupling elements in its product portfolio – especially for the chemical industry, municipal technology and the agricultural sector. In addition to the standard zinc die-cast or turned stainless steel versions, the plastic elements open up new fields of application.

The L-coded, field-attachable M12x1 connector with screw connection up to 2.5 mm² saves space and can be flexibly assembled in the field. In addition, CONEC offers M12 connectors in A, B, D and X coding with crimp termination in shielded design with straight housing.

In industry and transport, M12 connectors are used for sensor / actuator cabling and for BUS systems. It is important to use reliable, flexible and robust components. Connectors that are easy to assemble play an important role in the implementation process.

For maximum flexibility in device development CONEC offers a comprehensive range of connectors of various sizes and contact layouts for automatic production processes. The advantages of THR (Through-Hole-Reflow-Technology) and SMT (Surface-Mounting-Technology) assembly are that the connection technology can be integrated into the SMT process and thus the efficiency in device production in the electronics sector can be increased.

In order to save time and thus costs, ease of maintenance and speed of installation are playing an increasingly important role in industrial cabling. Overmoulded connectors with snap termination can be quickly and easily plugged onto sockets, sensors and actuators without any further work steps or tools.

The tool-free field assembly connector of the Y-Con RJ45 series from Yamaichi Electronics bears the name Y-Con Profix-Plug. This quick and easy to assemble RJ45 connector meets the Category 6A requirements of the ISO/IEC 11801 standard and was developed for industrial applications.

Progressively decentralized automation, keyword industry 4.0, requires flexible and individual wiring in certain areas directly in the field and at the machine. The constantly growing number of sensors for monitoring operating and machine conditions also necessitates the use of field-attachable connector variants that can be assembled to enable flexible electrical connections directly in the field. CONEC offers various connector families that meet these requirements.

The RJ45 series Y-Con from Yamaichi Electronics was developed for the toughest industrial applications and is a flexible, modular, and expandable product line. It meets the requirements of protection ratings IP20, IP67, IP68 and IP69K, among others.

In the commercial vehicle industry and in agricultural, construction and municipal technology as well as in the Off-road sector, connector systems are required that offer extremely high performance even under the most difficult environmental conditions, such as at sub-zero temperatures or in dusty, hot environments.
